Packaging Specialist - Groundworks Industries Reports To: Production Manager Schedule & Travel: Full-Time, On-Site l (Monday through Friday,) Groundworks Industries is home to a collection of brands that seek to provide knowledgeable, and artful experiences that set new standards for the purchase and experience of cannabis. Through innovated delivery systems designed to provide thoughtfully dosed products, our Workshop creates goods for both novice and seasoned cannabis users. Our expert cannabis confectioners create products of the highest quality with the support of local partnerships that honor Portland's maker culture. We're looking for team members who are excited about joining us in the pursuit of making quality drugs! Currently we are recruiting for a Packaging Specialist Position. The Packaging Specialist ensures that all product is packaged in accordance with standard operating procedures and ensures that all products meet the company's quality standards while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and compliance while in timely communication with production team members. A day in the life for this position may include responsibilities like: Supporting packaging and inventory management efforts with task ranging from stickering to boxing and counting edibles into packaging. Supporting edibles production by assisting with set up and break down of the kitchen and post manufacturing processing of edible products. Partnering with a team of cannabis confection professionals to compete the production plan by following scheduled assignments, accomplishing work tasks, and following established priorities Following all written work instruction including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures, checklists, and other instructions as needed Compensation And Benefits We offer a great benefits package to round out employee total compensation! Qualifications An excellent candidate for this position will have: Solid problem-solving skills Ability to effectively manage detail-oriented tasks The skills required to manage highly regulated inventory, including attention to detail and above average organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to give and receive constructive feedback in an efficient, meaningful, and timely manner The experience we often see correlated with success in this role is: Cannabis industry, warehouse or food manufacturing experience Familiarity with cannabis tracking systems and OLCC rules The Important Requirements For This Role Include All cannabis industry employees must be age 21 or older and hold or obtain a valid OLCC Marijuana Handler's permit Candidates must have an up-to-date Food Handlers Card Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, sit, and kneel daily in food production environments that include concrete or other hard-surface floors and, in some instances, staircases Ability to push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times daily Ability to maintain focus and memory in environments with distractions such as heavy foot traffic, background noise due to public conversations and the gathering of people, etc. Ability to do repetitive physical tasks EEO Statement Groundworks Industries and our family of brands are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination and harassment of any kind.
