Patient Access Specialist

*Position Overview* You'll be working in a *healthcare administrative environment* supporting patient services and medical documentation processing. This role is a mix of *clerical support, patient access, and customer service*, ensuring accurate handling of medical records and documentation in a fastpaced setting.

*What You'll Be Doing*
* *Medical documentation:*
* Process and fulfill requests for medical records, EOBs, UB92 forms, and itemized statements
* *Clerical support:*
* Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, indexing, and organizing documents
* *Mail handling:*
* Sort, track, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing correspondence
* *Claims & records processing:*
* Work with claims from multiple sources and manage electronic files and work queues
* *Customer service:*
* Support internal teams and external partners by providing accurate and timely information
* *Accuracy matters:*
* Maintain detailed records and ensure all documentation is processed correctly and efficiently
*Required Qualifications (MustHave)*
* High school diploma
* Previous administrative or office support experience
* Familiarity with *medical terminology*
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and research information when needed
* Comfortable working in a *fast-paced environment*
*NicetoHave Skills*
* Experience with *EPIC system*
* Healthcare or patient access experience
* Strong customer service background
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Data entry and 10-key experience
*Work Schedule*
* Monday-Friday (full-time)
* Shift starts between *6:30 AM - 7:30 AM*
* Various departmental schedules available based on placement

*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
