Ultrasound Technologist PRN

Hourly Wage Estimate: $32.95 - $49.42 / hour Job Summary and Qualifications Prepares patients, collects relevant information for completion of procedures. Performs all ultrasound/vascular procedures following defined protocols. Observant of patients’ conditions. Notifies physician or supervisor of unusual occurrences. Compiles appropriate records to expedite results. Analyzes the quality of images and processes as required. Understands and operates electronic information systems, PACS, PacsCube, Powerscribe etc. Maintains appropriate supplies and a clean, organized working environment. Participates in continuing education activities to expand/enhance knowledge of sonography. Participates in departmental QA/Accreditation process. Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner. Various other duties as assigned. What qualifications you will need: Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound, or training in Ultrasound in a hospital program. Required One year of experience as Vascular and/or Ultrasound Technologist. Preferred Bachelor of Science in related field.
