Lead Commercial Roofing Service TechnicianStart Date: ImmediatelyJob Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $25.00-$38.00 hourlyPosition Overview: This position is responsible for leading and efficiently performing various commercial low slope roofing installations while utilizing safe work practices and driving overall crew performance, job quality, and job site safety. Join our team today and help us build something great!Essential Job Functions:Coordinate and communicate schedule adjustments to customers and managementGuide, mentor, and manage service technicians on assignments and expectationsClean, maintain, and stock assigned work truckEnsure necessary materials are kept stocked in the warehouseStock and maintain van with necessary materialsOrganize and schedule with multiple clients and job scopesCommunicate updates and status directly with sales and management staffClock hours for service jobs and ensure crew accurately logs times and jobs in buildertrendComplete work orders and submit them upon completion to submit for paymentRequired Skills and Abilities:Strong commercial low slope roofing expertise; diagnose issues and recommend solutionsBuild relationships; support service work and generate salesLead crews; coach team and ensure quality workmanshipManage time, priorities, and deadlines across service callsWork independently; provide direction and accountability to othersMaintain safety/compliance (OSHA 10, valid license, Federal clearance eligible)Detail-oriented; communicate professionally with customers and teamModel JR&Co values; lead by example and represent company positivelyMinimum Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED1-2 years of leadership experience2-4 years of experience in roofing (preferred)Experience working with metal roofing, coping, and the above, listed materialsWork Environment/Physical Requirements:Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test programWilling to travelAbility to perform elevated work (work on rooftops, heights)Frequently lift and carry 50lbs or greaterFrequent bending, kneeling, walkingOutdoor environment in all types of weather (8+ hours per day)Overtime and weekend workBenefits:Health, dental, vision, life insurancePaid time offPhone Stipend401(k) with company matchFringe Benefit sub-plan (where applicable)Weekly payPaid Parental LeaveLocation/ScheduleKansas City, MO and surrounding regionDay Shift: Mon-FriJ.R. & Co., Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
