Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Office Engineer to support and coordinate key aspects of construction project delivery. This role plays a critical part in project planning, execution, documentation, compliance, and close‑out processes across complex, large‑scale construction projects. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage project delivery activities including planning, design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and close‑out Track and document planning and engineering activities in collaboration with Project Managers, contractors, and field teams Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, providing insight into contracting strategies and execution Review and respond to Requests for Clarifications (RFCs), Change Order Proposals (COPs), and Change Directives (CDs) Prepare cost estimates and support negotiation of fair and reasonable change orders Monitor contractor payment applications to ensure accuracy and alignment with project progress Conduct site walks to verify field conditions and prepare status reports Analyze contractor schedules, including critical path and recovery plans Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and construction standards Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including logs, contracts, reports, and correspondence Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, and track action items Assist with claims resolution through proper documentation and coordination Support project close‑out, ensuring the delivery of as‑built drawings and technical records Lead testing efforts to confirm material compliance with specifications Experience Minimum of 8 years of full‑time professional experience in construction or project management Proven experience managing commercial, public, or educational facility construction projects exceeding $15M Education Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management Additional relevant experience may substitute for education on a year‑for‑year basis (high school diploma required) Preferred Qualifications Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) Familiarity with LEED‑certified or sustainable building projects (CHPS) Knowledge of DSA construction/design processes Comprehensive Health Insurance (medical, dental, and vision) Paid Time Off for personal and vacation days Please note that we are only able to interview candidates that meet the minimum requirements of the role.
