As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will operate X-ray screening equipment, monitor access points, and inspect packages and materials for security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, verifying authorized access and reporting irregularities to appropriate site contacts.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and package handling operations to help deter unauthorized entry and support orderly movement throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and operational spaces; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
