Senior Research Associate, Cell Culture Team, Integrated Research

Revolution Medicines seeks a Senior Research Associate to support early discovery programs by producing high-quality mammalian cell cultures. The role involves routine cell culture operations, inventory management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver materials for critical research milestones.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammalian cell culture operations including expansion, maintenance, cryopreservation, and thawing
• Maintain cell line inventory and experimental documentation using Benchling with high accuracy
• Respond to urgent requests from discovery teams to support critical program milestones
• Develop and document protocols with rigorous experimental workflows and detailed observations
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess cell line needs and deliver materials on defined timelines

Requirements

• B.S./M.S. in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, or related field with 3+ years hands-on mammalian cell culture experience
• Demonstrated expertise in aseptic technique, multi-line cell handling, media preparation, and cryopreservation protocols
• Strong ability to optimize and troubleshoot mammalian cell culture systems
• Familiarity with cell culture quality control practices including mycoplasma testing and cell line authentication
• Proficiency with electronic lab notebooks such as Benchling for documentation and inventory management
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and data integrity standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
