School Psychologist Job Opportunity Available

Job Description Blazer Jobs, a leading provider of staffing solutions, is currently seeking an experienced School Psychologist for a contract position in Oneida, TN. Requirements: Valid state certification/license as a School Psychologist Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Experience working with special education students and families Knowledge of local and state regulations governing school psychology services Strong communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: Weekly direct deposit Health care options 401(k) with employer match Tuition reimbursement Other traditional benefits Job Duties: Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning. Interpret assessment results to provide recommendations for academic interventions, accommodations, and special education services. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed. Consult with teachers and staff on strategies to support students' social-emotional development and academic success. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and make recommendations for services. Serve as a resource for school staff and families regarding mental health concerns, learning disabilities, and behavior management techniques. Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessment results, progress notes, and intervention plans. Stay current on best practices and research in the field of school psychology. Collaborate with community agencies and service providers to coordinate support services for students and families.
