Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles. ARDMS, 1030-1900 M-F. Call will be every other weekend F 1900-0700, S- 0700-0700, S-0700-0600. Week night call- 2 nights rotations 1900-0600. Radiology - U/S General Certification Requirements (BLS) BLS, ARDMS. We would want someone with Abd and/or OB/GYN for sure; wouldn't need Fetal Echo which is RDMS. Pediatric or Breast certifications are certainly nice, but not if that's their only one. How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 3 Siemens Sequioa. Will they have to float/cover any other areas? When volumes are low, they will help transport patients for other modalities. Common types of imaging/studies performed & job duties all general US, breast bxs, IR procedures, OR cases, NICU baby imaging, dopplers. We don't need a registered peds sonographer, but someone who is familiar and able to scan neonatal heads, kidneys and the occasional spine is needed. Experience or 'must have' skills experienced in breast imaging and procedures, and NICU imaging. Average # of scans/studies per day 10-12 per tech. EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EPIC and McKesson Pacs. Department specific equipment (Client, Phillips, Siemens) Siemens, Trophon- probe cleaning. Radiology supervisor or lead tech supervisor. Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No. Radiologist in-house? Yes. Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) No. Scrub color/dress code: are scrubs provided? Slate grey. Department specific orientation yes, supervisor has documents. Additional notes must communicate and document well with radiologists and other providers.
