Position Overview

We invite you to join our expanding team of imaging professionals as a dedicated Sonography / Ultrasound Specialist. You will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct essential diagnostic procedures, work hand-in-hand with a supportive healthcare team, and provide reassurance to your patients with prompt and precise imaging results.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a spectrum of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and superficial imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all examinations, maintaining clear and compassionate communication regarding each phase of the procedure
• Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure superior diagnostic imaging
• Maintain and operate advanced imaging equipment, promptly addressing any issues as they arise
• Document all procedures meticulously and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound technologies and adhere to best imaging practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
