As a senior technology leader, you will play a critical role in shaping the design, development, and evolution of high-quality software solutions that support our LATAM partners. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, client-focused solutions that align with business objectives and strategic priorities.In this role, you will lead a team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native Vision NEXT platforms leveraging APIs, event-driven architectures, AWS services, and real-time authorization capabilities. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, driving innovation while ensuring operational excellence across the platform.What you'll do:Lead the architecture, design, development, and implementation of software applications supporting Fiserv's Vision NEXT platform.Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.Ensure high standards for coding, testing, debugging, performance, security, and application reliability.Drive and maintain robust code review and peer review processes to promote engineering excellence.Mentor and develop junior engineers, providing technical leadership and guidance to strengthen team capabilities.Lead a team of technical specialists to deliver high-quality solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to clients, executive leadership, global teams, and CIO-level stakeholders.Advocate for the Vision NEXT platform by articulating its technical capabilities, business value, and long-term strategic benefits.Champion best practices in cloud-native development, system scalability, and continuous improvement.Experience you'll need to have:12+ years of experience in software development, solution delivery, or related technology disciplines.6+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams and successfully translating technical solutions into business value for clients and stakeholders.5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, C, C#, C++, or similar object-oriented programming languages.5+ years of experience working with SQL databases and data management solutions.5+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions utilizing AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).5+ years of experience working within Agile development environments and methodologies.Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, professional experience, and/or military experience totaling 15+ yearsExperience that would be great to have:Experience within the financial services, payments, banking, or fintech industry.Experience with cloud-native architectures, event-driven systems, APIs, and real-time processing platforms.Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Familiarity with VisionPLUS, Vision NEXT, or large-scale card processing platforms.Important information about this role:This is a fully onsite position, Monday through Friday.
