Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Details Position: RN - AP4 Med-Surg/Behavioral Health - Days Location: Chicago, IL Employment Type: Full Time (36 hours per week) Hours: Days (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.), every other weekend and rotating holidays required Required Travel: May float to other inpatient units as needed What you will do: Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the delivery of nursing care to patients and their families. Maintain competency reflective of current standards of practice. Interact and contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues. Integrate ethical provisions in all areas of nursing practice. Integrate evidence-based practice and research findings into nursing practice. Recognize and adjust to situations that vary from the norm. Promote safety measures to prevent patient and staff injuries. Guide and supervise staff in the provision of patient care. Enhance own professional growth and development. Maintain a safe therapeutic working environment and recognize the need for action in emergency situations. Document thoroughly and timely. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. What you will need: Prefer at least one year of experience as a staff nurse. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Demonstrate mastery of nursing skills. Communicate effectively and be able to guide and supervise nursing personnel. Maintain current Illinois Nursing licensure. Hold American Heart Association CPR certification. Hold ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on the unit requirements.
