Women and Minorities are encouraged to apply. Job Title Workforce Development Coordinator Job Responsibilities This role supports our company’s growth in Emporia and the surrounding markets. This position requires a bi‑lateral and bi‑literate (Spanish) skillset. Key responsibilities include: Assist with full-cycle recruiting efforts, including interviewing, pre‑onboarding, and orientation processes. Coordinate and conduct interviews alongside hiring managers/HR team. Actively source and search for qualified candidates through company ATS, job boards, referral programs, career fairs and other recruiting platforms. Assist with company events, new‑hire orientation and other HR‑related activities. Promote the company throughout Emporia and the surrounding communities. Build strong talent pipelines with local trade programs. Assist with translation (Spanish) during meetings, interviews, and employee discussions, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all written and verbal communication. Prepare and distribute onboarding material and paperwork to incoming employees. Review onboarding paperwork with new employees, and direct appropriate corrections as needed. Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, data entry and document preparation. Assist with pre‑employment checks, including background screenings and reference checks. Coordinate pre‑employment testing/technical assessments for candidates. Job Qualifications Must be bi‑lateral and bi‑literate in Spanish. College degree preferred but not required. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity. Experience working within an HRIS/ERP system highly preferred. Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent multitasking and time management skills are required. Must adapt to changing priorities throughout the workday. Must be professional in both appearance and behavior. Experience in the construction industry is preferred, but not required. Working and demonstrable knowledge of MS Office software is preferred. Strong verbal, interpersonal and written skills, along with a strong understanding of email etiquette. A valid driver’s license is required. What do we offer?
