DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position plays a key role in providing complete nursing care and creating a therapeutic environment for residents. As a Registered Nurse, you will perform the following duties:

• Care Delivery: Provide skilled, restorative, rehabilitative, supportive, and palliative nursing care to residents
• Environment Support: Maintain a stable and therapeutic setting that promotes resident comfort and well being
• Quality Assurance: Follow HIPAA standards and uphold all required nursing care guidelines
• Resident Focus: Support resident quality of life through attentive, high quality nursing practices

Work Hours and Additional Information:

• Part-time employment (8 hours/day; 20 hours/week).
• Positions are available on the following shift:
  • 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
• Rotating holidays and weekends. Working every other weekend is required.
• Lunch Period: 30 minutes

• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting hourly salary of $44.12 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Ne cessary Special Requirements:

• This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

Other Requirements:

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• If you are within 60 days of graduating from a school of nursing approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this job posting. At the time of appointment to a position, you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Registered Nurse license.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
