In this district-wide role, you’ll oversee behavioral support initiatives across multiple school sites, providing invaluable guidance to staff who work with diverse learners, especially in behavior and autism programs. Rather than carrying a direct caseload, you’ll contribute at a broader level, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing and overseeing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and offering exceptional supervision to two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Colorado BCBA credential and current CDE license (required)
- Demonstrated experience supporting school-based behavioral and autism programs
- Expertise in FBA, BIP development, and staff consultation
- Proven ability to supervise and mentor RBTs in educational environments
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite and travel between multiple K–12 schools
Key Responsibilities:
- District-wide behavioral support across several campuses
- Direct consultation with school staff to address behavioral and autism program needs
- Conduct FBAs and author BIPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide ongoing supervision and coaching for two RBTs
- Ensure compliance with educational and ethical standards
- Champion positive interventions for student success
