Program Project Coordinator - C2 Pipeline, College of Nursing Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Program Project Coordinator to support the C2 Pipeline, a 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant‑funded after‑school program within the College of Nursing, at its Detroit campus location. Essential Functions (Job Duties) Under limited direction, coordinate office services, programs and projects, multitask in a variety of situations, and respond promptly to changes in priorities. The coordinator will assist C2 Pipeline staff with recruitment of after‑school program participants, serve on assigned projects to advance organizational goals, and act as liaison to internal and external contacts. Coordinate assignments requiring high organization, confidentiality, record keeping, attention to detail, and accuracy. Coordinate personnel activities and follow‑ups for the program, including job postings, onboarding processes, and paperwork, becoming the main contact for these functions. Anticipate office needs, set daily priorities, research information, schedule meetings, and establish timelines for special projects. Interpret procedures and processes to facilitate department goals and revise them as necessary; provide sound statistical information to the Department. Assist Department Administration with annual budgets, professional development plans, and special requests made by Site Coordinators. Assist in preparation and/or submission and follow‑up of annual reviews and reports related to the strategic goals of the department. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: Specialist (minimum 5 years of job‑related experience). High level of experience with Banner and online Web Time Entry system preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required. Project Management: Ability to independently manage multiple projects, ensuring tracking, quality control, follow‑up, and meeting multiple deadlines. Written Communications: Outstanding writing skills across various media, including web, letters, evaluations, reports, and program summaries. Self‑Starter: Able to work independently in a highly organized, detail‑oriented, fast‑paced environment. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities; build cooperative relationships, facilitate communication, and maintain professional decorum at all times. Teamwork: Demonstrated teamwork skills, including consensus building and problem anticipation. Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook) and internet; extensive knowledge of University software platforms such as Banner and Web Time Entry is a plus. Problem‑Solving: Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly; gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Planning/Organizing: Prioritizes and plans work activities, adapts to changing conditions, and develops strategies to achieve organizational goals. Initiative: Takes independent action, demonstrates persistence, and overcomes obstacles.
