Founded by enthusiasts in 2013, T Sportline is a pioneer and leading provider of premium-branded aftermarket parts and accessories designed specifically for Tesla and Rivian vehicles. The Company has developed a full suite of interior, exterior, and offroad/overlanding accessories that inspire customers interested in upgrading their Tesla/Rivian. The recent addition of the Patrol EV brand has brought on the opportunity for custom development in the emergency space (police/fire/EMS). Core Responsibilities
- Design & Engineering: Act as a primary individual contributor generating original designs and collaborating with external vendors and design teams on mechanical designs for aftermarket automotive parts.
- Hands-on Validation: Perform vehicle fitment testing, performance validation, and installation in the shop. You are the final sign-off on production readiness.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve design or manufacturing defects in existing product lines based on customer feedback.
- Quality control: diagnose and root cause identified issues with products or processes, then develop and implement plans to prevent future occurrences.
- Customer service: assist with technical inquiries from the customer service team and provide high quality feedback.
- Time management: independently juggle dozens of projects and tasks.
Requirements
- Experience: 1–5 years of professional mechanical product development, ideally within the automotive aftermarket. Exceptional recent graduates will also be considered.
- Technical Skills: History of owning the design and development of mechanical consumer products and proven success of taking them from idea to market.
- Shop Capability: Ability to personally perform vehicle tear-downs, prototype installations, and test-fitments.
- Root Cause Analysis: Background in root cause analysis and resolution of product issues.
