About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide operational and financial leadership for its extensive portfolio of restaurant and retail concessions. The COO will be responsible for full P&L accountability, driving sales growth, and ensuring the profitability of nearly 400 locations across the United States. This role requires a modern, hands-on approach, with a focus on day-to-day execution, operational excellence, and a strong, accountable operating culture. The successful candidate will partner with the CEO and executive team to set strategic direction, lead the regional and district operations teams, and maintain relationships with airport authorities, landlords, and national brand partners. Additionally, the COO will be accountable for compliance with all relevant regulations and will champion sustainability, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field, with an MBA preferred. A minimum of 15 years' progressive operations leadership experience in multi-unit restaurant, retail, or hospitality operations is required, with a strong preference for those with a background in airport, travel plaza, or transportation-related concession operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, controlling costs, and improving operational margins, as well as experience in leading mergers, acquisitions, or post-acquisition integration. Strong financial acumen, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to travel extensively are essential. The COO will also be expected to have a working knowledge of food safety, labor, and security regulations applicable to concession operations.
