Description
American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN with an active IL RN license and at least 2 years of experience for a day-shift position with a 1:6 patient ratio.
Details
- Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM)
- Required to work every other weekend
- Floating required
- Utilizes Epic charting system
- Provides cardiac monitoring and emergency response
- Performs interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Cares for telemetry, respiratory, and tracheostomy patients
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required in hand
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- NIHSS and CPI certification preferred
- Nursys report required (pulled within the last 2 weeks)
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
- Former UCM, PRN, or Ingalls permanent staff must have separated employment for at least 7 months before returning as a traveler
- RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days
- Non-billable orientation modules (2-3 hours) must be completed during orientation
