Business Process Analyst

Process Documentation AnalystThe Process Documentation Analyst is responsible for creating, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy of Engineering Masters, Bills of Materials, operations, and manufacturing master data within the ERP system. This role translates upstream documentation and product specifications into complete manufacturing records that enable Production and Prototype to successfully execute customer orders. The role works closely with Engineering, Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure that product configurations are accurate, manufacturing-ready, and aligned with engineering intent while maintaining data integrity throughout the product lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Create and maintain Engineering Masters within the ERP systemGenerate new part numbers in accordance with company standardsBuild complete product structures using engineering documentationMaintain engineering master data accuracy throughout product lifecycleEnsure all required manufacturing information is complete prior to releaseValidate BOM accuracy against engineering specificationsProcess Engineering Chase Notice (ECNs) and implement revisionsMaintain revision controlTranslate engineering requirements into RTP manufacturing dataIdentify discrepancies and work with Engineering to resolve them prior to releaseCoordinate with Planning to ensure Engineering Masters support production schedulingOther Important Responsibilities:Maintain ERP master data accuracyDevelop documentation and standard work instructionsAudit Engineering Masters and BOMsEnsure compliance with company data standardsSupport ERP improvementsRecommend process improvements and participate in Lean initiativesPerform other tasks assignedSkills & Qualifications:Associate's degree (bachelor's degree preferred)2-4 years of experience in a technical writing or manufacturing support roleExperience creating Bills of Materials and routingsExperience working with ERP systemsExperience in a manufacturing environment is a plusBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteFamiliarity with Workflow software is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented with a willingness to learn and self-review workAbility to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
