Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Southwest General

Seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time position at Southwest General. This position requires experience in knowledge, procedures, and independent practice. Neonatal APP experience required and minimum of 2 years experience in a level 3-4 NICU strongly preferred. The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by a Nurse Practitioner as specified by the Ohio State Nursing Board and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

Additional Responsibilities: Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

Qualifications:

Education: Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program (Required) (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required) Experience: 1+ years as a Physician Assistant Required 1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner Required Skills, & Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills. (Required proficiency) Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships. (Required proficiency) Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
