We call the culture that brings it all together the Verde Vibes: taking care of our people, our customers, our communities, and our planet.We're looking for a Bilingual Operations Supervisor who is ready to lead from the front, develop great people, take ownership, and create an awesome experience for both our crew and our customers.If you're a hands-on leader who thrives in the field, enjoys solving problems, and knows that a strong team starts with strong leadership, this could be the role for you.What You'll DoAs an Operations Supervisor, you'll lead and develop a strong team of Leads and Frontline Team Members while ensuring our operations run safely, efficiently, and with the quality our customers expect.Lead an A+ TeamDirectly manage and develop Leads and Frontline Team Members.Hire, onboard, develop, and lead an A+ team.Ensure proper onboarding and offboarding processes are followed.Provide regular coaching and feedback to help team members grow.Lead daily team Huddles before each shift using the approved weekly Huddle Guide.Conduct daily Internal Inspections to maintain high standards.Participate in regular 1:1 meetings with your direct manager.Take ownership of understanding and living Verde's Mission, Vision, and Values.Incorporate our core values into coaching conversations and everyday leadership.Put Safety FirstAt Verde, safety isn't just a requirement-it's part of our culture.The Operations Supervisor will partner with EHS to ensure compliance with safety processes and help create an environment where team members can do their best work while prioritizing their well-being.Create Happy CustomersOur customers count on us to deliver, and you'll help make sure we do.Resolve work orders on time.Escalate customer complaints and concerns to your direct manager when necessary.Take proactive measures to stay ahead of client needs.Build and maintain strong relationships with Tier 3 customers.Solve problems quickly and professionally while keeping the customer experience top of mind.Own the BusinessGreat Operations Supervisors understand that leadership means ownership.You'll use approved tools and systems-including HeySage, ADP, Divvy, and others-to help manage daily business processes and support operational success.You'll also:Help your account stay on budget.Follow processes to prevent unapproved overtime.Actively identify Above the Base (ATB) opportunities.Proactively identify operational risks and opportunities for improvement.Drive innovation and adopt corporate initiatives and changes quickly.Support efficiency and continuous improvement across the account.Strictly adhere to Verde's sustainability programs.The physical requirements described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions in accordance with applicable law.Must be able to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout an entire shift on various surfaces including concrete, tile, and carpet; ability to climb stairs and navigate multi-floor facilities as neededAbility to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs. unassisted frequently; up to 35 infrequentlyMust be able to push and maneuver loaded janitorial carts, trash receptacles, and supply carts weighing up to 25 lbs. frequently; up to 35 infrequentlyFrequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and overhead reaching up to 8 feet using a step stool or ladder; repeated twisting and extension of arms and shoulders while mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and wiping surfacesAbility to grip, squeeze, and manipulate cleaning tools, spray bottles, brooms, mops, and equipment controls repeatedly throughout the shift; manual dexterity sufficient to operate floor buffers, auto scrubbers, wet/dry vacuums, and steam cleanersAbility to identify areas requiring cleaning, inspect surfaces for soil and residue, and read product labels and safety data sheets (SDS); ability to distinguish colors sufficient to sort waste streams and identify chemical productsMust be able to work in environments with varying temperatures including outdoor areas, and high-humidity areas such as restrooms and kitchens; ability to tolerate exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, odors, and allergens while following all PPE and safety protocolsCapable of maintaining consistent physical output throughout the shift with standard rest breaksKeep GrowingPersonal development is part of the Verde journey.
