Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Tampa, FL, to focus on estate planning, probate, and select transactional matters. The role involves conducting client consultations, drafting estate planning documents, and managing cases independently while collaborating with the managing attorney. Responsibilities Conduct estate planning consultations with clients. Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Customize estate plans based on client goals, including faith-based structures. Review and revise documents to meet high standards. Oversee probate matters and sign pleadings as needed. Provide strategic input on estate planning structures. Assist with select real estate and transactional matters. Maintain organized case files and coordinate with staff. Requirements 2-5 years of legal experience preferred, especially in estate planning or probate. Strong drafting skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage client consultations independently. Analytical mindset with sound legal judgment. Comfort working within structured systems. Cultural competency and professionalism. Experience with Islamic estate planning principles is a plus. Florida Bar license required and in good standing. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Licensed to practice law in Florida. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
