Truck Driver

Job Description

The Truck Driver role focuses on the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous materials and general freight within a local travel range. This position suits both Owner Operators and Company Drivers who operate independently but under company insurance guidelines. Candidates must hold valid credentials, including a CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and demonstrate strong adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Transport hazardous materials and general freight safely and timely
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections prior to and after trips
Maintain accurate logs and documentation
Operate vehicles efficiently within local travel zones
Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams

Required Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Hazmat endorsement with Tanker endorsement

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of truck driving experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in vehicle operation and route navigation
Strong focus on safety compliance and defensive driving
Excellent time management and communication skills
