Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Neuro)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | 13–20 Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro Stepdown unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess neurological patients, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety practices in accordance with facility standards
• Participate in orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
• Adhere to unit protocols, holiday scheduling requirements, and compliance standards throughout the contract period

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty, with at least 18 months of recent Neuro Stepdown experience (travel experience accepted)
• Active and unrestricted permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification – must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification – must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification – must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU or Progressive Care unit experience
• Experience gained within a single location rather than combined across multiple facilities
