Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Step-Down

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring Medical Step-Down level of care
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing and responding to changes in clinical status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of critical care or step-down nursing experience
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association only
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or professional nursing certification recognized by the Magnet Association
• 2 or more years of critical care or step-down nursing experience
