About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Water Equipment and Systems Engineering to lead the design, development, and technical strategy for water and wastewater treatment equipment and integrated systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of reliable, compliant, and cost-effective solutions for municipal and industrial clients. This leadership role involves driving innovation, overseeing cross-functional engineering teams, managing technical partnerships, and ensuring that projects meet performance, schedule, and budget targets while upholding strong safety and quality standards. The VP will also be tasked with providing strategic vision, aligning technical roadmaps with business objectives, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the engineering teams. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental, chemical, civil, mechanical engineering, or a related field, and possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. state. A minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering, including leadership or management roles, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in water treatment processes and equipment design and integration, strong project and program management experience, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience with materials selection, chemical handling, and safety/compliance requirements for treatment systems is essential, and hands-on experience with various water treatment processes and equipment is a plus. The role demands a leader who can mentor and grow multidisciplinary engineering teams, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and represent the company at industry forums and with key customers.
