Description
Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for obstetric patients using the nursing process and established standards
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to changes promptly
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and document accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across multiple levels
- Maintain patient safety, education, and discharge planning in coordination with the care team

- Ability to provide nursing care in a hospital setting
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and teamwork with diverse care teams
- Flexibility to work nights and 12-hour shifts
- Willingness to relocate to the assignment location for the duration of the contract
