Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and careful analysis of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, prepping operating rooms, ensuring patient positions are optimal, and handing over surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which encompasses medication administration, wound management, patient education, and discharge planning

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations focusing on surgery highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
