Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Emergency Medicine

Your expertise will be invaluable in diagnosing and treating a diverse range of medical conditions, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible attention and care Responsibilities Assess and manage patients in the emergency department Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests Develop and implement treatment plans Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals Educate patients and their families on health management Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Participate in quality improvement initiatives Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed Requirements Current NP or PA license in the state of Texas Associate degree in nursing or relevant field Experience in Emergency Medicine or acute care settings Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certifications preferred Schedule: 10a-10p ~10k annual volume No ICU Standard ER Procedures Required: Central lines, chest tubes, vents, etc. EMR: Cerner Must be board-certified ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required Paid travel & lodging #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 consultants
