This opportunity combines Occupational Medicine and walk-in Urgent Care in a structured outpatient environment with a highly predictable weekday schedule. You'll manage workplace injuries, acute presentations, occupational physicals, and in-office procedures while maintaining consistent Monday-Friday, 8A-5P hours. Opportunity Highlights Longview, Texas October 16-November 27, 2026 Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Occupational Medicine + Urgent Care Outpatient clinical environment Work-related injury evaluation and treatment Occupational and employment physicals In-office procedures Employer-facing medical guidance Clinical Scope This is hands-on outpatient medicine with a meaningful mix of occupational injury care, urgent care, physical examinations, and procedures . The NP/PA will: Diagnose and treat work-related injuries Evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walk-in basis Perform appropriate in-office procedures Conduct pre-placement physical examinations Perform DOT physical examinations Conduct public safety and medical surveillance physicals Communicate with employers and provide appropriate medical guidance Complete clinical documentation accurately and efficiently Provide welcoming, skilled, and respectful patient care Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM October 16-November 27, 2026 This opportunity is well suited for an NP or PA who enjoys variety and wants to remain clinically active throughout the day. You'll move between workplace injuries, walk-in acute presentations, physical examinations, procedures, and employer communication in an outpatient setting designed around efficient, practical medicine. Rather than a physicals-only assignment, the clinical scope provides an opportunity to use both acute-care and occupational-medicine skills throughout the assignment.
