Job Opportunity – General Medicine Provider – West Virginia

Location: Gassaway, West Virginia (50-mile radius)

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 1 day per week on a PRN basis; flexible half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) options available

Highlights:

• Conduct compensation and pension exams plus separation health assessments for Veterans
• Primarily interview-based exams with basic physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities required
• Must have your own office space within 50 miles of the listed location
• Quick credentialing and onboarding process
• One-time bonus of $650 for completing all required training and performing first exams

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted West Virginia medical license
• Current AANP certification
• Proficiency in METs testing, and evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
• Must own a laptop (Mac/Apple products not compatible)
• Own office space that meets ADA accessibility requirements with designated exam room
• Willing to complete DMA training and certification
• Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine preferred
• Experience with compensation and pension exams is a plus
