Class A Truck Driver

Position Overview This position is responsible for the operation of company vehicles, ensuring the safety and security of cargo, performing load/unload of supplies, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and reporting inspection results. All responsibilities must be completed in compliance with all safety protocols, policies, procedures and consistent with the spirit and philosophy of The Andersons' Statement of Principles. Key Responsibilities Understand and adhere to all state and federal DOT regulations. Operate other mobile equipment as necessary. Maintain a current Class A license. Maintain all equipment as necessary. What is Expected of You and Others at This Level Has developed proficiency through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision and is likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience. Minimum Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 3-5 years’ relevant experience required. Physical Requirements and Working Environment Must be able to stand/sit for an extended period of time. Ability to frequently lift/push/pull up to 60 pounds. Must be able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 100 feet. Works indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures. Working conditions could include dust, fumes, moderate noise and uneven surfaces. Travel required.
