We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and attentive individual to provide high-quality support to clients in a respectful and professional manner. In this role, you will help promote comfort, dignity, safety, and independence while assisting with daily living needs and offering meaningful companionship. The ideal candidate is patient, observant, and committed to delivering person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support as appropriate.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while maintaining a respectful and encouraging environment.
• Support meal preparation, feeding assistance, and hydration reminders as needed.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying living spaces, laundry, and organization to maintain a safe environment.
• Remind clients to take medications as directed, when authorized and within scope of role.
• Monitor changes in physical condition, behavior, or overall well-being and report concerns promptly.
• Assist with transportation or accompany clients to appointments, errands, or activities when required.
• Follow care plans, safety procedures, and documentation requirements accurately and consistently.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving, home care, personal support, or a related role is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Ability to provide support with patience, empathy, and respect.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a care team.
• Physical ability to assist with basic caregiving tasks, including standing, bending, and occasional lifting or transferring support as appropriate.
• Basic understanding of safety practices and personal care standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, or other relevant certifications may be preferred depending on the work setting.
