Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year About the Firm Small, litigation-driven plaintiff-side firm in Southern California that handles injury, employment, and complex civil disputes, with a reputation for aggressive advocacy and hands-on client service. Why join us Responsibilities Work with a managing partner and handle claims from intake through resolution, including conducting the early stages of litigation such as drafting of complaint and initial discovery, on select matters. Responsible for expert retention, Medical coordination, investigation, evidence preservation, and client communications. Draft, edit, review and finalize demands; draft mediation briefs; and conduct mediations. Responsible for claim negotiation and settlement. Work with post-lit to finalize claims and oversee effective transfer of matters from pre-lit to litigation Draft complaints and prepare and respond to initial discovery. Job Details Qualifications Experience with intake, client communications, medical coordination, liability investigation, expert retention, demand letter drafting, claim negotiation, and medical lien reduction. Understanding of medicine including complex injuries and causation. Experience mediating matters and preparing mediation briefs. Strong legal research, communication, and negotiation skills.
