Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pre-Litigation Attorney to oversee and manage a plaintiff-side personal injury caseload from intake through settlement or transition into litigation. This role is responsible for leading pre-litigation strategy, maximizing case value, mentoring staff, and delivering exceptional client service throughout the claims process.

The ideal candidate has strong negotiation skills, deep knowledge of personal injury law, and experience managing complex injury claims involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, construction accidents, wrongful death, and other negligence-based matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation caseload from inception through resolution
• Conduct case evaluations and develop legal strategies to maximize settlement outcomes
• Review medical records, accident reports, insurance policies, and liability documentation
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case status, treatment progress, and settlement expectations
• Negotiate aggressively with insurance carriers and defense representatives to secure favorable settlements
• Draft and review demand packages, settlement agreements, and related legal correspondence
• Collaborate with case managers, paralegals, and intake staff to ensure efficient case progression
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff within the pre-litigation department

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license and good standing with the state bar
• 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience, with significant pre-litigation experience preferred
• Proven track record of negotiating and resolving high-value personal injury claims
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage, liability analysis, and damages evaluation
• Excellent verbal, written, negotiation, and client communication skills
