Medical Reviewer - Gastroenterology Immunology

Medical Review Professional

We are seeking an experienced Medical Review professional to support promotional and nonpromotional content review activities within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role will collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Ethics, and Commercial stakeholders to ensure scientific accuracy, compliance, and alignment with medical strategy. The ideal candidate will provide medical guidance during material development and review processes while supporting cross functional initiatives related to brand and therapeutic area communications. This position requires strong scientific communication skills, medical review experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast paced remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review promotional and nonpromotional materials to ensure medical accuracy, scientific integrity, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in cross functional review meetings and provide medical approval for assigned therapeutic area materials.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, and Commercial teams during development of promotional content.
• Provide proactive scientific guidance for brand concepts, campaigns, and communication strategies.
• Support medical affairs initiatives including review of scientific and educational materials.
• Evaluate disease state claims, clinical data, and product related content for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain current knowledge of therapeutic areas, competitive landscape, and scientific advancements.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in medical review, medical affairs, medical information, or related pharmaceutical environment.
• Advanced health science education preferred including PharmD, PhD, or MD.
• Experience reviewing scientific, promotional, or healthcare related materials.
• Strong understanding of medical and scientific communication principles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience within Immunology or Gastroenterology therapeutic areas.
• Previous experience supporting promotional review committees.
• Background in medical communications or regulatory review.
• Clinical practice or academic research experience.
