Dental Assistant

Overview Orthodontic Dental Assistan Summary: The Orthodontic Dental Assistant supports orthodontic care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Colorado dental standards. This is a part time position to work 3 days a week for our Denver and Aurora offices. At CHOICE Healthcare Services, our mission is to provide everyone access to the healthcare they need. Other duties may be assigned. Assists the doctor in procedures Takes x-rays Instructs patients on oral hygiene Sterilizes instruments Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene Qualifications Education and/or Experience: Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred Required Certificates or Licenses: Colorado X-Ray certification Current BLS certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
