Electrical Installation Apprenticeship - Camden

Job Description Electricians may work on the installation, initial verification and testing, commissioning, and maintenance of low voltage (up to and including 1000 V or AC 1500 V DC) electrical and electronic equipment. They may also maintain electrical and electronic installations including automated production systems. The role contributes to design, development, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of products, equipment, processes of electric systems or services. Key Responsibilities Comply with safety and environmental regulations, building codes, and industry standards, including 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671). Perform electrical installation, verification, maintenance, and testing on various voltages (AC/DC, single/three-phase). Conduct maintenance, inspections, and condition reporting for existing electrical systems per manufacturer instructions and installation requirements. Install wired and wireless solutions, ensuring compliance with 18th Edition BS 7671 and relevant standards while assessing electrical loads. Install mains-powered life safety systems in industrial, commercial, and residential settings. Install electrical connections for heating and cooling systems in different installations. Communicate and collaborate with project teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring data security. Typical Working Week 40 hours per week with start time typically between 07:00 & 08:00 inclusive of paid 8 hours at college. Curiosity to learn quickly in a reactive and dynamic environment. Will work in all weather conditions to serve customers and protect the environment. Can understand and follow health and safety protocols. Must be living in the London Borough of Camden. Minimum Requirements English and Maths at GCSE Grade 4 or above, or Functional Skills at Level 2 or above. Must have also completed a Level 2 Electrical Installation Diploma. Desired Requirements Passion and commitment to becoming a fully qualified electrician. Advantageous if you already have previous related work experience and a CSCS/ECS Card. Training and College Information K10 will enrol you in the Level 3 Installation/Maintenance Electrician course and fund your qualifications through an accredited training provider. The apprenticeship duration is 48 months, dependent on your previous qualifications. Eligibility Living in England for the last 3 years and have right to work status.
