Backed by advanced technology, lifecycle services and an industry-leading field organization, we elevate customer performance, turn goals into real-world results and help move society forward.**What You Will Do*** **Become a Category Expert:** Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned categories, including industry trends, competition, and future innovations.* **Lead Strategic Sourcing:** Design and implement sourcing strategies for your assigned commodities, optimizing the sourcing footprint and driving cost reduction through various methods like LCC sourcing and value engineering.* **Drive Collaboration:** Maintain regular communication and alignment with the extended business unit procurement team to ensure seamless execution of category strategies.* **Negotiate Win-Win Deals:** Lead supplier contract and price negotiations, securing optimal terms and fostering long-term partnerships.* **Champion Continuous Improvement:** Identify and implement strategies for trade working capital improvement, purchasing control, and cost analysis.* **Lead Supplier Development:** Actively manage the supply base, driving supplier performance and development initiatives.* **Issue Resolution:** Proactively identify and resolve supplier delivery, quality, or commercial issues.* **Data-Driven Decision Making:** Leverage data and analytics to optimize procurement processes and make informed "make vs. buy" decisions.* **Global Impact:** Collaborate with international teams to leverage purchasing opportunities across all regions in the business unit.* **Deliver Results:** Achieve or exceed category-related goals such as cost savings, quality improvement, and supplier rationalization.**Qualifications / Requirements:*** Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Minimum 5 years of progressive procurement experience with a focus on strategic sourcing.* Extensive experience in global sourcing methodologies.* Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.* Strong understanding of purchasing principles and best practices.* Proficiency in MS Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Working knowledge of SAP or other equivalent ERP systems (preferred).* Previous experience in the HVAC, Engineering, Fire Safety, Security, or a related industry (a plus).HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100,00-$150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
