Senior Research Analyst

Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of the local commercial real estate market Track and analyze economic, demographic, and commercial real estate data to identify insights on market activity, conditions, and trends Build relationships with local brokerage teams to understand research needs and provide deliverables Develop relationships with external research peers and real estate experts to exchange information and learn industry trends Manage and maintain accurate internal commercial real estate metrics through Curve Analytics Use Curve Analytics to run and report quarterly market statistics Compile statistical data for internal or external client requests and transform it into graphs, tables, and charts Support local teams in preparing client pitches, presentations, and proposals Perform additional department duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Urban Planning, Economics, or related field 3+ years of real estate research or related business experience Basic understanding of commercial real estate and/or capital markets metrics Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Basic familiarity with data vendors including Real Capital Analytics, RealPage, CompStak, ZoomInfo, Revista, Pitchbook, and CoStar Strong analytical and writing capabilities with high attention to detail Basic understanding of economics and demographic platforms including Moody’s, Lightcast, Oxford Economics, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bureau of Economic Analysis, and the Census Bureau Organizational, project management, and multitasking skills Ability to prioritize workload, manage projects, and communicate with research team members and clients Ability to work independently and proactively and in a team setting Ability to provide high-level customer service Ability to resolve complex situations by defining strategies and leading cross-functional collaboration Ability to serve several audiences while producing best-in‑class research Flexibility, creativity, ability to work under pressure and tight schedules Ability to remain stationary 50% or more of the time and constantly operate a computer and office productivity machinery, or receive reasonable accommodations Knowledge of ESRI Suite, ArcGIS, PowerBI, and Adobe Creative Cloud helpful but not required Selected candidates are subject to pre-employment background checks and drug screening Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in commercial real estate research, data analysis, and market trend identification, while effectively managing relationships with brokerage teams and clients.
