POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team onsite in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This role will support accounting operations, financial reporting, and close processes while partnering with leadership to improve financial processes and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Hands-on Workday experience required
• Strong experience with general ledger, month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, GAAP, and financial reporting
• Corporate accounting or professional/service-based industry experience preferred
• Experience with AP/AR, payroll accounting, revenue recognition, and sales tax preferred
• Avalara experience preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Must be willing to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process and continuously meet applicable State, County, and Municipal requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close
• Support GL, AP/AR, payroll accounting, and revenue recognition
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Coordinate monthly sales tax filings
• Partner with auditors, tax advisors, factoring companies, and internal leadership
• Support accounting system enhancements and process improvements
