About the Role

The Company is seeking a visionary and hands-on VP of Global Tax to lead its tax organization through a period of significant growth and transformation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the global tax strategy, including income, indirect, and transfer pricing, and will be a key player in the company's expansion and optimization efforts. This role requires a strategic leader with multinational experience, ASC 740 expertise, and the ability to translate complex tax matters into clear, executive-level decisions. The VP of Global Tax will also be instrumental in driving the modernization of the global tax technology stack and will be the primary interface with external auditors, professional service providers, and tax authorities. Applicants must have a minimum of 20 years' progressive tax leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a high-growth technology environment, and a strong preference for those with Big 4 public accounting experience. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with a Master's in Taxation, JD, or CPA strongly preferred. The role demands a deep understanding of U.S. federal, state, and international tax reporting, as well as a proven track record in leading teams, managing complex cross-border issues, and supporting executive leadership. Experience in preparing a company for an IPO and building SOX-compliant tax departments is essential, as is a strong background in financial reporting environments and a direct experience in implementing or overseeing integrations of tax technologies.
