Job Overview:

Pay Range: $50.00hr - $55.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• 10+ years of experience in architecture and design.
• Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide Snowflake data platform architectures.
• Expertise in defining data strategies, standards, and best practices for cloud-based data warehousing.
• Proven ability to develop scalable and cost-effective solutions supporting analytics, reporting, AI, and machine learning initiatives.
• Knowledge of Snowflake multi-cluster architecture, performance optimization, and workload management strategies.
• Experience architecting data ingestion frameworks using ETL/ELT methodologies.
• Proficiency in designing data pipelines integrating structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
• Hands-on experience implementing Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and Data Sharing capabilities.
• Experience integrating Snowflake with enterprise applications, data lakes, APIs, and third-party systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices.
• Experience implementing role-based access controls (RBAC), data masking, row-level security, and governance controls.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise-wide Snowflake data platform architectures.
• Define data strategies, standards, and best practices for cloud-based data warehousing.
• Develop scalable and cost-effective solutions supporting analytics, reporting, AI, and machine learning initiatives.
• Define Snowflake multi-cluster architecture, performance optimization, and workload management strategies.
• Architect data ingestion frameworks using ETL/ELT methodologies.
• Design data pipelines integrating structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
• Implement Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and Data Sharing capabilities.
• Integrate Snowflake with enterprise applications, data lakes, APIs, and third-party systems.
• Collaborate with cloud teams to design solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Establish disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
• Optimize storage, compute utilization, and overall platform costs.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices.
• Monitor and optimize query performance and workload management.
• Implement role-based access controls (RBAC), data masking, row-level security, and governance controls.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Establish data quality, metadata lineage, and governance frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering and analytics teams.
• Mentor Snowflake developers, data engineers, and data analysts.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead architecture reviews and technology roadmap discussions.
