Job Details Job Title: Assembly B Job Code: 35439 Job Location: Rochester, NY Job Schedule: 4/10: Employees work 10 hour days, 4 days a week Job Description This person will contribute to the company’s success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro‑mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub‑assemblies, or end products. Essential Functions Performs a variety of mechanical or electro‑mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub‑assemblies, or end products in a repetitive nature Follows an engineered assembly process, but may require the ability to adjust, fit, or align parts Uses hand tools such as long nose pliers, screw drivers, soldering irons, and wrenches Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels Uses Microsoft Office programs Identifies problems and contributes to process improvements Performs some hand soldering on electronic assemblies Willingness to learn and work in a fast‑paced, flexible production environment Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 10 hours) Able to transport up to 25 lbs. Other duties as assigned Ability to work overtime as needed No Travel requirements No Security Clearance required Qualifications Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior or relevant experience or 2 years post‑Secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience Preferred Additional Skills Strong mechanical background L3Harris product knowledge Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements through the L3Harris E3 continuous improvement process Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and Bills of Material J‑STD‑001 compliance Strong Customer Focus Salary and Benefits In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $36,920 - $54,000. Final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
