Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing organization. Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices accurately and efficiently in a high-volume environment
• Review, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices and payment requests
• Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Support month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely payment processing
• Assist with procurement and purchase order processes
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve AP procedures
• Participate in software implementations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives
• Help develop and document best practices for accounts payable operations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices
• Experience working through ERP, accounting software, or system transitions preferred
• Familiarity with purchase order and procurement processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to think outside the box and recommend process improvements
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
