Express Employment Professionals is recruiting motivated and dependable Seasonal Applicators for a full time seasonal opportunity with a well established company serving the agricultural industry throughout Central Washington.

This hands on role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, traveling to customer sites, operating specialized equipment, and playing an important role in preserving the quality and shelf life of fresh produce. Paid training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced applicators and individuals looking to expand their skills within the agriculture industry.

Job Responsibilities

• Apply post harvest treatments to fruit storage facilities according to established procedures and safety standards
• Safely operate specialized application equipment and handle treatment materials
• Travel to customer locations throughout Central Washington to perform services
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and provide excellent service
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment
• Complete and maintain accurate application, service, and inventory records
• Assist with the application of pre harvest and post harvest products designed to improve fruit quality and reduce crop issues
• Support the application of storage treatments that help enhance produce quality and shelf life
• Supervise and train an assistant as assigned
• Delegate tasks and help ensure efficient job completion

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage daily assignments

Preferred

• Commercial Pesticide Applicator License through the Washington State Dept. of Agriculture
• Previous agricultural, orchard, warehouse, pesticide application, or field service experience
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb as needed
• Ability to safely operate a pickup truck and trailer
• Comfortable working in agricultural and storage facility environments

Compensation and Benefits

• $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and certifications
• Paid training provided
