Position Overview

The Chiropractic Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the provider team, guiding patients through care plans, and ensuring a smooth and efficient clinic flow. This role blends clinical support, patient engagement, and light administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Support

Assist chiropractors with patient flow and treatment setup

Escort patients to treatment areas and ensure comfort

Prepare therapy modalities (e.g., e-stim, shockwave therapy, traction, hot/cold therapy)

Provide instruction on prescribed exercises and rehab protocols

Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment areas

Patient Experience

Build strong rapport with patients and create a welcoming environment

Educate patients on treatment plans and expectations

Encourage compliance with care plans and follow-up visits

Handle patient questions with professionalism and empathy

Operations & Administrative Support

Assist with scheduling and patient check-in/check-out as needed

Maintain accurate patient documentation in EMR

Coordinate with front desk and providers to optimize clinic flow

Support daily clinic operations and team communication

Qualifications

Prior experience in a chiropractic, physical therapy, or medical office preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

High level of organization and attention to detail

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Positive attitude with a team-first mentality

Basic computer/EMR proficiency

Preferred (Not Required)

Experience with personal injury patients

Familiarity with rehab exercises or therapy modalities

Background in fitness, kinesiology, or healthcare
