Qualifications:

2+ years of experience preparing taxes at a CPA firm or Tax practice
Prior experience working with IRS Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 1041
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
Flexible and able to shift priorities
Strong organizational skills

Job Duties:

The Tax Preparer will handle the preparation of simple and complex, individual and small business State and Federal tax returns.
Reply to incoming client calls to help with tax questions and set appointments
Manually arrange transaction tax returns utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies
Factor in precise data into Tax software application
Maintain other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Interact with clients to gather needed information/documents
Real Estate experience preferred
Be friendly, courteous and tactful with clients at all times and a team player.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,342.68 - $50,000.00 per year
