This opportunity offers strong onboarding, supportive leadership, and long-term career growth in a collaborative acute-care environment.\n \n Pay: Up to $45/hour base pay + $5 weekend and night shift differential\n \n Unit Overview-\n Registered Nurse responsible for providing psychiatric nursing care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for patients.\n \n Experience & Skills-\n -Demonstrates clinical knowledge of psychiatric nursing, including growth and development, psychopathology, and psychosocial systems\n - Displays effective communication skills and maintains therapeutic relationships with patients, families, physicians, and staff\n - Able to set limits as needed by recognizing potential behavior problems and responding in a caring and consistent manner\n - Utilizes the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, with timely documentation\n - Competent in restraint/seclusion and follows hospital policy\n - Demonstrates skills in admission, discharge, and transfer of patients\n \n Shift Details-\n 12-hour shifts- 7:00P-7:30A-Night and weekend shift differentials offered\n \n Compensation & Benefits-\n - Hourly rate up to $45/hour (DOE)- Shift differentials available (up to $10/hr)\n - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance\n - Paid Time Off starting day one\n - Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250/year\n - 403(b) retirement plan with employer match\n - Disability and life insurance\n - Employee assistance program and wellness resources\n \n Key Responsibilities-\n - Participate in initiation of master recovery plan and treatment team meetings\n - Administer prescribed treatment and medications correctly\n - Conduct patient groups and document in patient medical record\n - Maintain appropriate staffing patterns and nursing care hours in absence of unit manager/program director\n \n Requirements-\n - Active Indiana RN license (or compact eligible)\n - BLS certification (required)\n - Graduate of an accredited ASN/ADN or BSN nursing program\n - Previous RN experience preferred\n - New grads may be considered based on unit and orientation availability\n \n Medical Solutions Direct Hire Job ID #1102070.About Medical Solutions Direct Hire\n \n At Medical Solutions, we’re people who care, helping people who care.
